Expression of hypoxia inducible factor 1 alpha subunit (HIF1a), solute carrier family 2 member 1 (SLC2A1)/GLUT1, hexokinase 2 (HK2), fructose-2,6-biphosphatase 3 (PFKFB3), pyruvate kinase, muscle (PKM2), pyruvate dehydrogenase kinase 1 (PDK1), cytosolic isocitrate dehydrogenase-1 (IDH1), succinate dehydrogenase complex subunits C and D (SDHC, SDHD), and fumarate hydratase (FH) were measured by SYBR-green qRT-PCR relative to 18S rRNA levels. Results are presented as mean ± SEM, n = 7-8. The student’s t-test was used to test for statistical significance. Not significant (NS), compared to MDA-MB-231 cells
